When our clients approached Love Kitchens with their newly built louvre system and a vision of incorporating a kitchen into their outdoor space, Rhys knew he had to deliver something truly exceptional. Their request was ambitious: to incorporate a full suite of appliances while maintaining ample prep and serving space.
To achieve this balance, Rhys planned the layout ensuring each appliance had enough surrounding workspace. The key was to integrate the kitchen into the existing louvre roof posts, maximising the kitchen's footprint rather than reducing its size. Notching the posts around the cabinetry, steel fabricated units, and benchtops was a challenging but necessary step in achieving the desired result.
One of the standout features of this project is Love Kitchens handcrafted Pizza oven. Too large to be craned into place, it was constructed on site. A Flue diversion to the corner of the louvres allows the client to fully open the louvres at any time, enhancing the overall outdoor experience.
All door fronts and drawer fronts are crafted from Silicone burnt oak. This material not only mimics real timber but also eliminates the maintenance required for real timber, such as repainting or oiling, thanks to its zero movement properties.
The kitchen is equipped with top-of-the-line appliances, including a keg fridge capable of holding three 20 litre cannisters of your favorite beverages, a Bull Angus BBQ with Rotisserie, a Big Green Egg, a beer and wine fridge SK156 from Bar Fridges NZ along with a sink and tap for easy washing up The benchtop is made from Dekton Liquid Sky, providing both durability and a sleek appearance.
By carefully balancing functionality and aesthetics, we have created a space that not only meets but exceeds our clients' expectations, providing them with the ultimate outdoor entertaining experience.
