Our clients, an entertaining family with a penchant for hosting friends and family gatherings, sought to enhance their outdoor living space with fully equipped kitchens on their expansive deck that bordered their pool area. They envisioned a versatile setup that would accommodate their social lifestyle while seamlessly integrating with their outdoor entertainment area.

The primary brief was to design and install two distinct kitchen areas- a dedicated bar space and a mobile outdoor kitchen. The bar area needed to provide ample storage for utensils and tableware, including overhead cabinets, while also featuring a sink and tap for convenient washing up. Additionally, a compact SK118 bar fridge was included to ensure chilled beverages were always on hand for guests.

For the main outdoor kitchen, mobility was a key consideration. The design allowed for easy movement of the kitchen unit, enabling the clients to position it under the eaves during rainy weather or in the sun during the summer months. This flexibility also addressed regulations around permanent structures near the pool fencing, as the kitchen could be stored 1.2 metres away from the fence when not in use. 

The Bull Angus BBQ with Rotisseries provides a versatile grill perfect for cooking a variety of dishes. To elevate their culinary experience, they opted for a thick stainless steel plate for Teppanyaki-style cooking and BBQ breakfasts. Complementing the BBQ, the Danish Morso Forno Oven was chosen for its elegant design and functionality. Crafted from cast iron, this versatile oven radiated clean heat, ideal for wood-fired pizzas.
